Sarah and Phil Warburton

Sarah and Phil Warburton planted a church with an Urban Expression team twelve years ago in Tower Hamlets in the East End of London. This church joined with two others to become E1 Community Church. Phil is a Baptist minister and remains one of the leaders of the church.
He is also a Trustee of UE. Sarah is a primary school teacher by training and coordinates a literacy programme for young people in the borough. Sarah is also working at being a ‘fool’ (see www.thefoolstory.com). To help her in that cause she supports West Ham United!! They have two children, Naomi who is 12 and Ben who is 10, who are also ‘forever blowing bubbles’.
