Andrew Grinnell is learning what it means to find Jesus and follow him on an estate in East Leeds. He moved there with his family and some friends in 2006 seeking to be good neighbours for and with local people.
Through acts of hospitality and developing alternative initiatives they hope to bring peace and justice to their neighbourhood. He is an associate of Leeds Churches Together in Mission, where he his helping to develop a community organising body for Leeds and helping the church to think through its response to the huge inequalities within the city. He teaches on training programmes and at various conferences and events around the UK and is a research student at Kings College, London.
